Tomatillo Salsas

This is a double post - one for mom and one for me.

Mom made a tomato tomatillo salsa for Salmon. It was very fresh, but mom forgot to roast the tomatillos so it had a tart taste.


I made a tomatillo salsa. My inspiration came from mom's homemade salsa. I went simple, roasted tomatillos, onion, garlic, and roasted chili. It was a nice topping for nachos and quesadillas.

    those nachos look yummy! I kind of wish i would have roasted my tomatillos, everyone's look so good!
